Intercity Bus Code of Practice
Code of Practice
The Intercity Bus Code of Practice deals with intercity bus services. It
covers operators that transport passengers and goods by bus between or
within the provinces and territories of Canada. It also covers the
terminals and bus stops operated by them.
It relates to scheduled services, that is, to regular services operated in
accordance with a timetable over fixed routes, including suburban and
airport bus services operated like scheduled intercity bus services. It does
not relate to charter and tour services nor to urban and school
transportation.
Complaint Guide
- If you are a person with a disability and have faced a barrier to your
mobility when attempting to travel by intercity bus, you may seek recourse
by pursuing a complaint process.
