The Canadian Marine Advisory Council (CMAC) is a forum for consultation with its stakeholders on safety, navigation, and marine pollution.  The membership includes commercial shippers, fishers, recreational boaters, unions, other levels of government and other federal departments.  CMAC is jointly coordinated and chaired by senior members of the Department of Transport, Safety and Security and the Department of Fisheries and Oceans, Canadian Coast Guard.
