Border officials seized more than 90 kilograms of cocaine hidden in a shipment of lemons in a tractor-trailer at a Canada-U.S border crossing just south of Vancouver.
Border officials found 83 heat-sealed bags of cocaine when they cracked open the produce boxes.

The Canada Border Services Agency made the seizure Dec. 12 at the Pacific Highway Truck Crossing in Surrey during a routine search, Paula Shore, the agency's communications manager in B.C., said Friday.
Officials pulled aside the vehicle for secondary inspection and noticed some suspicious-looking packages, she said.
"Through the holes in the boxes of lemons we were able to notice packages — taped packages — and once the boxes of lemons were opened we discovered 83 packages of cocaine," Shore said.
Investigations are ongoing and charges have not been laid, she said.
Including this latest interception, CBSA officers in the Pacific Region this year have seized close to 550 kilograms of cocaine in six major shipments coming into B.C.
Last year, the CBSA made 2,193 drug seizures in B.C., keeping nearly 700 kilograms of drugs off Canadian streets.
