Former Toronto Raptor Keon Clark received a March date Friday in Danville, Ill., for a new trial on felony drug and weapons charges.
The 32-year-old was given a new trial date of March 12 because he lacked legal representation when he was sentenced in absentia this fall to 2 ½ years in prison.
Keon Clark played 127 games over one-plus seasons with the Raptors.

Clark, who played for the Raptors from 2001-2002, was arrested this fall after U.S. Marshals got a tip that he was on a bus leaving Houston. He was arrested on several Illinois charges, including not having a firearm owner's identification card and possession of a controlled substance.
During his NBA career, the Danville native averaged 8.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.6 blocked shots and 22.6 minutes in 353 games over seven seasons with the Denver Nuggets, Raptors, Sacramento Kings and Utah Jazz from 1998-2004.
Clark was drafted 13th overall out of Nevada-Las Vegas in 1998 by the Orlando Magic, who dealt his negotiating rights and Johnny Taylor to Denver for a first-round draft pick on Jan. 21, 1999.
Clark was later traded to Toronto, along with Tracy Murray and Mamadou N'diaye, for Kevin Willis, Aleksandar Radojevic, Garth Joseph and a second-rounder on Jan. 12, 2001.
The spindly forward played 127 games with the Raptors, only to have them rescind a $3-million US qualifying offer in the summer of 2002 to avoid paying a luxury tax.
At the time, the Raptors committed $240 million US to Vince Carter, Antonio Davis, Hakeem Olajuwon, Alvin Williams and Jerome Williams, so left themselves scant salary cap space.
Clark resurfaced in Sacramento before closing out his pro career with Utah.
