Music and Friends is the title of a popular piece of Newfoundland music. It's now the title of a Land and Sea show.
When friends gather at a cabin or down at the landwash, chances are someone is going to bring out a piece of music and there's going to be a singsong. Newfoundlanders and Labradorians sing about themselves, their joys, their harships, their disasters and whatever makes up the fabric of life. It stirs up emotion, nostalgia and pride.
