Lindsey Vonn of the United States surged to the top of the women's alpine World Cup overall standings Saturday by winning her second race in as many days in St. Anton, Austria.
Vonn, known as Lindsey Kildow before marrying in the fall, followed her downhill victory on Friday by taking Saturday's super-combined.

Vonn led after the downhill leg and finished with a combined time of two minutes, 20.28 seconds after the slalom.
Maria Riesch of Germany finished second, 0.63 seconds back, while American Julia Mancuso was third, another 0.02 seconds behind.
Emily Brydon of Fernie, B.C., was the top Canadian, finishing 14th in 2:25.68. Larissa Yurkiw of Owen Sound, Ont., did not finish.
"I was a little disappointed in my downhill today," Brydon said. "I should have skied a little better and entered the slalom with a bit of a time advantage."
Vonn, who had been fourth in the overall standings, leads with 474 points. Nicole Hosp of Austria is second with 419 and Riesch is third with 389. Britt Janyk of Whistler, B.C., is the top Canadian — she's seventh with 279.
Only 17 skiers completed both disciplines Saturday — super-combi specialists like Hosp, Anja Paerson and defending World Cup champion Marlies Schild did not finish.
"With so many good racers out, I didn't have to take too many risks on my slalom run," said Vonn.
The event in St. Anton was the first of only three super-combi races this season. The other two are at Whistler, B.C., on Feb. 23, and Crans Montana, Switzerland, on March 9.
