Wojtek Wolski tapped in the winning shot 1:16 into overtime, and Milan Hejduk scored two goals in the Colorado Avalanche's 4-3 victory over the New York Rangers on Friday night.
It was the Avalanche's seventh straight victory over the Rangers, who haven't beaten Colorado since a 5-3 win on Nov. 20, 2001, at Madison Square Garden. New York hasn't won in Denver since 1998.

Jeff Finger gathered up a loose puck in the Rangers' zone and fired a shot at Henrik Lundqvist, who had the puck trickle through his pads. Wolski knocked it in for his 12th goal of the season.
Marek Svatos tied it at three midway through the third period. Svatos got the puck in front of the net, fanned on his first attempt, composed himself and knocked it in for his 11th goal of the season.
Brendan Shanahan, Michal Rozsival and Marc Staal scored for the Rangers, coming off a 6-3 loss in Minnesota the night before in which Wild forward Marian Gaborik scored five goals.
Hejduk did his best Gaborik impression, scoring twice in the second period. It was Hejduk's fourth multi-goal game of the season.
Peter Budaj, who started his season-high fifth straight game, stopped 20 shots, including a sliding save to thwart a shot from Fedor Tyutin with four minutes remaining.
