CBC Radio One Information Morning
Meet the crew

Susan Alana Rogers Susan Alana Rogers--not to be confused with Shelah Rogers, who Susan did work with on "Morningside" in Toronto. After coming to her senses and moving back to Nova Scotia 15 years ago, Susan wrote for magazines and produced for Street Cents on CBC television. She went on to become executive producer of "The Docket", a TV show on Newsworld, and this summer produced a legal series for CBC Radio One, called "Sweet Justice". That's when she had her second epiphany and decided to return to radio to work on Information Morning!

Margot Brunelle Margot Brunelle is an associate producer at Information Morning. She came to the program in 1997, after working as a freelancer and producer on Maritime Noon and Mainstreet. Margot hails from Montreal via Toronto, where she studied Journalism at Ryerson and worked briefly at CBLT. She escaped upper Canada for the Maritimes 20 years ago. When she can, Margot enjoys exploring the region and beyond, with her her family of three boys and husband Karl, a CBC recording engineer.

Bob Murphy Bob Murphy has worked with CBC for 15 years. Born in Prince Edward Island, he studied journalism at Ryerson University in Toronto. He has worked at National Radio News, for CBC Television, and for the past three years, as a reporter on Information Morning where he has covered stories ranging from terrorism and port security, the sponsorship scandal, as well as mental health issues. A true Maritimer at heart, Bob has lived in all three of the region's provinces.

Eileen McInnis Eileen McInnis has been associate producer and studio director of Information Morning since 1990. A graduate of the University of Kings College School of Journalism, she came to CBC Halifax for a summer job in 1985 and never left. Eileen lives in Dartmouth with her husband and two children.

Elke Semerad Elke Semerad travelled across the country to find her niche at Information Morning as associate producer/technician in early 2003. She hopped off Vancouver Island headed for the English program at the University of Alberta and then the journalism program at Western in London, Ontario. After working in Toronto at several CBC Radio and web programs, often at the same time, the East Coast beckoned. She's finally dipped a toe in both the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. But she's missed the sailing time for the Blue Nose II three times.

Lisa Roberts Lisa Roberts joined Information Morning as an associate producer in May 2005 - 14 years after her first CBC paycheque for writing a commentary on starting her last year of high school. During the intervening years, Lisa worked extensively with CBC radio in Corner Brook, Toronto and Halifax. Lisa has an undergraduate degree in International Development Studies and a graduate degree in Development Economics, both from Dalhousie University. She lived in Guatemala for two years, speaks fluent Spanish and uses it on the radio whenever she can!
