RCMP say a woman arrested after the death of a man in southwestern Nova Scotia has been released from custody.
The 39-year-old woman was questioned by police after a man was found unconscious and suffering from apparent gunshot wounds at a residence in East Green Harbour late Friday night.
No charges have been laid.
Police were responding to a 911 call when the 39-year-old victim was found.
The man, whose name has not been released, was pronounced dead in hospital in nearby Shelburne, N.S.
Sgt. Mark Gallagher says the woman and the victim knew each other, but he's unsure of their relationship.
An autopsy was to be performed Saturday in Halifax.
