Each year, hundreds of Manitoba students
submit their posters to the Canada Day Poster
Challenge, a contest that is held across
Canada. Using their imagination, students
create colourful and original posters that
clearly interpret and reflect a specific
poster challenge theme.
The theme chosen for the 2007 Canada
Day Poster Challenge was A Portrait of Canada:
Celebrating 140 years.
Congratulations to all the artists who
entered their work in the poster challenge.
The first place provincial winner will represent
Manitoba in Ottawa on Canada Day as the
personal guest of the Minister of Canadian
Heritage.
CBC Manitoba is pleased to once again
partner with Canadian Heritage to present
the CBC People’s Choice Awards for
the Canada Day Poster Challenge.
This is your chance to vote for your favourite
posters designed by Manitoba school students
and selected as finalists by the Celebrate
Canada Committee.
On-line voting closes on Sunday, May 6,
Midnight.
