The three-week campaign brought CBC Radio and Television audiences inspiring, compelling, heartfelt stories of the many uses of the MRI unit from people that live in our community.
Final Total: $282,516.88
Thank you everyone who donated!
All proceeds from this year's Health Blooms spring campaign will support the MRI Focus on Health project to help fund a new permanent MRI at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.
The new permanent MRI will have a larger magnet, providing faster, better quality images and will reduce wait times.
Our spring campaign, Health Blooms, raised over $240,000 last year, helping the "Keeping Abreast of Cancer" project purchase a digital mammography unit.
We all want the best for our hospital; the best equipment, the best health care professionals and the best patient care. Your financial support towards these initiatives goes a long way towards achieving this goal.
