Fredericton SPCA 2008 Calendars are now available for $12.  The Fredericton SPCA is closed on Wednesdays, open Thursday from 11-7 and all other days from 11-4.  All proceeds benefit the homeless animals.

The NB Crafts Council is celebrating its new home in the Charlotte Street Arts Centre with Ornament your Home, an exhibition designed to showcase New Brunswick craft created at the home.  The Ornament Your Home takes place on Friday November 30th from 5:00 - 7:00 pm.  For more information please call 506-450-8989.

The Village of Bristol has lit the Village Tree and every night from 5:00 - 8:30 pm you can view the spectacular light show in the park at 9189 Main Street.

The Fredericton Emergency Shelter is undergoing its annual Buy-A-Night campaign.  The purchase of a $10 "Buy-A-Night" card goes toward the cost of housing one community member at the Men's Shelter or Grace House for Women.  If you are interested in purchasing some of these cards (great gift ideas) please call 506-452-8747.
 

December 31, 2007
Ring in the New Year with friends and neighbours in hardy Canadian fashion with a free outdoor concert at the Arts & Culture Park on Landing Court.  On Monday from 7:00 - 9:00 pm Matt Andersen, Ross Neilsen and the Hupman Brothers perform in a magical setting.  Hot choclate, light refreshments, a tasty BBQ, and party favors.  Skating will not be available at the Park after 4:00 pm.  Storm location will be Kings Valley Wesleyn Church @ 332 Hampton Road Quispamsis.  For more information please call 506-849-5778
