A 35-year-old woman allegedly armed with knives was shot by Saskatoon police on Thursday, the second person to be shot by officers in less than a week.
Neighbour Katie Sanderson said she saw police handcuffing a woman, but did not hear any shots.

Police aren't releasing many details about the shooting. According to a copy of the police dispatch obtained by CBC News, 911 received a call from a woman screaming on the phone at 2:40 p.m.
The woman allegedly said she wanted the police to come and shoot her, the dispatch said. The woman then hung up.
Police then received a call from a neighbour saying that the woman had knives in her hand, the dispatch said.
Jerry Merasty, a man who lives in the neighbourhood, located at the 500 block of Avenue G South, also said the woman was armed.
"There was a woman coming there with two knives and she was chasing the cops, and the cops had no choice but to shoot…," Merasty said.
Katie Sanderson, who lives on the street, said she didn't hear a gunshot. But she did see officers tackling and handcuffing a woman.
"She was standing up, they tackled her down, she was handcuffed and their guns were drawn," Sanderson said.
"Then once the lady finished handcuffing her, the lady cop asked for her first-aid kit and then the ambulance was called."
Early Saturday, Saskatoon police shot and killed Dwayne Dustyhorn, 38, during a confrontation after they were called to an apparent domestic dispute at an apartment.
Officers said Dustyhorn was wielding two knives when they arrived and lunged at an officer with the weapons as they removed a woman from the apartment.
