Canada requested a WTO Dispute Settlement Panel on U.S. Agricultural SubsidiesOn November 8, 2007, the Government of Canada announced that it had requested the establishment of a WTO dispute settlement panel on U.S. agricultural subsidies. Canada is requesting that the panel examine the total level of U.S. trade-distorting agricultural subsidies.
