(AP) -- Sebastien Bourdais, on his way to Formula One, shed some tears Sunday in Mexico City after winning his final race in the Champ Car World Series.
Maybe the rest of the series should be weeping at the loss of its biggest name and biggest talent in years.
With the Frenchman bidding adieu to American open-wheel racing, Champ Car is left without its centerpiece and Newman/Haas/Lanigan Racing is left with a big hole in its driver lineup.
