Michael and Melissa Harley are two young people who are among the latest to leave the hills of Cape Breton for the prairies of Alberta.
They were married this past summer at home in Little Bras D'or but soon after Melissa and Michael returned to Grande Prairie, Alberta. Michael is an environmental consultant for the oil and gas industry and Melissa works in the health field.
With the support of family and friends from the East Coast, they are thriving. But the tug to return to Cape Breton is constant.
