The Travelling Pig Farmer

He's known all over western Newfoundland...he and his one-ton '83 Chev.  Ross Smith.  The travelling pig farmer.
Each week, Ross loads the Chev with his home-grown pork, and delivers door-to-door. For a dozen years now, he's been making his pork portable.  And it's paid off.

What began with a few pigs in Ross Smith's back yard is now the second largest commercial pig farm in Newfoundland. An operation that grew from a retirement project, to another full time job for Ross. And his sons. And his daughter-in-law as well.

He's a man with a thing about pigs. With miles and miles to go.
