"I'm Having Breakfast with Island Morning"

All this week Island Morning is giving you a chance to win great prizes.
E-mail us a photograph of what you're doing when you listen to Island Morning.
We're looking for you to hold a sign reading; "I'm having breakfast with Island Morning 96.1 FM."
The picture should also clearly show where you listen,  but just in case, please describe it in your e-mail.

PHOTO OF THE DAY


Students at Spring Park Elementary enjoyed their first annual "Christmas Shop" on Dec 14th.  Each student shopped for their loved ones and brought home wrapped presents.  All items were under $3. The school raised $700 for the Turkey Drive!

On The Line
P.E.I.'s only open line radio program, On The Line is your chance to call in with opinions on a number of topics.  Every second Friday, Paul MacNeill opens the lines and asks a question on the hottest topics of the week. Paul will also have special guests in the studio for the phone in. On The Line is on the air after World Report at seven o'clock.

A Milburn, P.E.I., family is homeless after fire tore through their house Friday afternoon, just as the holiday season begins.
Global market, feed prices bring farm crisis to a head
Making a living from the farm has been difficult for years, but P.E.I. farmers say a strong Canadian dollar and feed prices pumped up by demand for grain to make ethanol have pushed the problem to crisis levels.
Ad refusal confuses bookstore owner
The owner of a Christian bookstore in Charlottetown says he can't understand why the CBC is refusing to air his television ad.
More bed closures could mean longer waits
Charlottetown's Queen Elizabeth Hospital will close more acute care beds than normal over the Christmas holidays, which could mean longer emergency waits and ambulance diversions.
