"Orchestras Canada is the national service organization for all Canadian orchestras. Our member organizations include major symphony orchestras, regional professional and chamber orchestras, semi-professional, community, university and youth orchestras as well as ensembles, presenters and music educators."

"Services provided to our members include advocacy, information, professional and organizational development and training, employment information, education and community outreach programs, and an ensembles program.
Orchestras Canada is a founding member of the International Alliance of Orchestra Associations (IAOA) that includes orchestra associations from North America, United Kingdom, Europe, Japan, and Australia, and exchanges information on issues affecting orchestras worldwide. Orchestras Canada also works with the Association of Asia-Pacific Region Orchestras, the American Symphony Orchestra League (ASOL), and is a member of the International Society of Performing Arts Administrators (ISPA)."
