"Over the next three years, the Department of Canadian Heritage will reduce overall funding available for the Canada Magazine Fund from $35 million to $16 million. The overall available funding level will still be higher than in 1999, and will be more targeted toward the development of key areas. The renewed funding program will continue to support the production of Canadian editorial content while better reflecting the needs and realities of magazine publishers in Canada today."
