Copyright Today - International
Although copyright provisions are set out in national legislation, levels of copyright protection are also defined at the international level in forums addressing intellectual property issues.

This section of Copyright In Focus provides access to documents and resources which deal with the history of intellectual property rights around the world. Up-to-date information on current international issues, including discussions taking place under the auspices of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the interplay between intellectual property and cultural expression in literary, dramatic, musical and artistic folkloric works, which fall within the purview of copyright law, are equally accessible.
