"The IMA, a foundation under French law, was conceived to raise awareness of and to spread Arab culture. Today, it has become a true "cultural bridge" between France and the Arab world.
The IMA has set itself three objectives:
- Develop and increase the study, knowledge and understanding of the Arab world, its language, its civilisation and its development endeavours in France.
- Encourage cultural exchanges, communication and co-operation between France and the Arab world, especially in the areas of science and technology.
- Participate in this way to the development of links between France and the Arab world, this contributing to a closer relationship between the Arab World and Europe."
