"ViFaOst combines the thematic and regional diversity of East European studies with the possibilities offered by the new media. Through a variety of research tools researchers can find and access a wide range of information in primary sources, texts and databases.
ViFaOst offers an academic approach to specific specialist information on Eastern Europe. This includes the most recent literature, bibliographies, databases, primary sources, full texts and other materials of interest. The search can be structured by subject, topic or region, and research functions are available in most East European languages (Unicode). All areas of the website can be explored via the quick search function."
