"No sector has been more profoundly affected by these changes than Canada’s audio-visual industry, where production activity was valued at almost $5 billion
last year. Of that, the two largest segments were Canadian television production which accounted for 59% of the total and foreign location production, so called “runaway” production which made up 35%. Feature film comprised 7%."
