General Reference 1 of 2
"During that one-day event, participants were made aware of the direct effects of digital technologies as regards to cultural activities, as well as their impact on governments’ ability to implement policies. As a result of that one-day event, the task-force submitted a two-year action plan, spanning from September 2006 to September 2008. Said action plan was accepted and ratified by the Ministers at the FPT Conference held in Toronto on September 8, 2006. The Plan calls for, among other things, the production of two documents: 1) An exhaustive review of literature and analysis produced by all FTP partners, and 2) A report on the impact of new technologies on various cultural industries, namely, music, audiovisual, publishing and new media."
