Studies & Reports 25 of 46
"In order to examine the coverage and impact of events on September 11 and after, the BFI and Open University with the support of the ESRC, ITC and BSC have carried out this initial programme of research. The first strand of research analyses the content of selected news bulletins of the UK
terrestrial channels and some of the key satellite channels available to UK viewers, as well as a number of national channels across the globe. Four separate days in the period between 11 September and 13 December 2001 were analysed. The second strand of the research focuses on the responses to the TV news coverage after 11 September by audience members in a range of British families and households, including multi-lingual households and families."
