"The members of the Forum believe that it should be disabled people themselves who determine where and with whom responsibility for decision making and advocacy on their behalf should lie. Hence the organisation is accountable to, controlled and managed by disabled people.
Like other ‘self-led’ disability organisations in the UK, it is committed to promoting equal opportunities and prioritises the employment of disabled people, as well as operating an ethical fundraising programme to finance its projects. It works to promote similar practices throughout the arts community and supports other arts organisations with corresponding policies."
