"Canadian Heritage works directly with Canadian citizens in a variety of ways. One major service is provided through the support programs of the Department, which include grants, bursaries, tax credits, and other means. Whether these programs focus on our Aboriginal or multicultural communities, arts and culture, heritage, official languages, our digital future, sports, or youth, the goal is to promote cultural diversity and our common values. We promote excellence and creativity, and encourage Canadians from sea to sea to sea to connect with each other in a meaningful manner."
