Studies & Reports 7 of 10
"The growth of legal gambling revenues in Canada in the 1990s was spectacular, and these revenues now make a significant contribution to provincial treasuries. This study examines the extent to which cultural activity in Canada is being funded through state-sponsored gaming revenues. It focuses on the administration and allocation of gambling revenues in four provinces: British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Ontario. It also explores the impact that these funds are having on individuals, organizations and communities, as well as on cultural activities in the provinces."
