Ms. Fullman’s five year tenure as a Program Officer and Administrator with the Center for Arts & Culture, an American non-partisan cultural policy think tank, gave her extensive research and analysis, grant monitoring, publication and e-service management skills. During this time, she worked primarily on behalf of international programs, including cultural diplomacy, preservation and creative sector initiatives, executing UNESCO, State Department, and the President’s Committee on the Arts & Humanities contracts.
Following the closing of the Center at the end of 2005, Aimee managed the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)-sponsored Investing in Women in Development Fellowship and the Fulbright Indo-American Environmental Leadership Program at the Institute of International Education. Aimee has provided consultative cultural policy work for the National Humanities Alliance, the Organization of American States, and was the interim editor of the weekly Cultural Policy Listserv as it transitioned into the custody of Americans for the Arts, the largest American Arts advocacy organization.
Ms. Fullman has a background in international relations, public affairs and public/non-profit administration. In 2005, she received her M.A. in Public Administration with a focus on International Cultural Policy from George Mason University. Her thesis focused on the differences in perspective between the U.S. and Canada regarding the UNESCO Convention on Cultural Diversity.
