"Immigrants with professional training and credentials earned in other countries frequently encounter obstacles to having their qualifications recognized in order to work in their professions in Canada. The reports reveal common impediments that arise in the processes of accessing appropriate academic or professional institutions in order to obtain an assessment of equivalency of education, training, and work experience."
