"Private funding represented on average 13.1% of these organizations’ revenues. While no one organization with a specific, direct and exclusive mission to promote and stimulate private cultural funding seems to exist at the regional or local level, in Montreal there are many organizations whose initiatives promote this objective such as the Conseil des arts de Montréal, Culture Montréal, the Fondation du Grand Montréal, the Journées de la Culture and the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal."
