"This issue of Ideas That Matter focuses on the social benefits of recreational activity is a welcome antidote to what has been a very long winter. This issue marks a new beginning of Ideas That Matter with the creation of Zephyr Press, a new publishing capacity within Avana Capital. This issue is also unique in that it reports on a collaboration between Ideas That Matter and the Laidlaw Foundation, where together we convened an advocacy workshop addressing the societal benefit of recreation programming, especially for children and youth."
