"The activities of ALECSO aim at realizing the objectives and programs of the Organization according to the following priorities: Coordinating Arab endeavor in the fields of education, culture and science. Formulating strategies of the Organization's activities, particularly strategies in the development of Education, Culture and Science. Exploring new areas of Arab co-operation in fields of education, culture and science, to mobilize Arab energies and resources in these fields. Assisting in solution of problems which confront the Arab countries in the field of education, culture and science. Preserving, restoring and safeguarding Arabic-Islamic heritage in the fields of manuscripts, antiquities and historical sites. Promoting the collection and dissemination of information in the fields of education, culture and science. Promoting research and studies in the Organization's fields of competence. Offering technical assistance relevant to the work of Member States. Organizing training courses which involve educational, cultural and scientific orientation and assimilation. Supporting Arabization projects in African and Arab countries."
