"Through research, exhibitions, textualization and discourse, the Centre increases the understanding of and respect for First Nations through information on issues which affect all First Nations such as treaties, land claims, self-government, art, history, and the like, the Centre fulfills its vision and meets its mandate.
The Centre plays an important role in identifying cultural symbols and metaphors which describe our realities and their relation to other cultures. We celebrate our knowledge and heritage through our programs and projects."
