"In May 2002, the Department's organizational structure was changed to better support the four strategic objectives. The result is a realignment into five sectors: Cultural Affairs; Citizenship and Heritage; Public Affairs and Communications; International and Intergovernmental Affairs; and Planning and Corporate Affairs. The financial information found in this Report is presented using the current Business Lines in order to comply with Government-wide presentation regulations and to allow for easier year-to-year comparisons."
