"This study criticizes and deconstructs the concept of social cohesion. The author suggests that this concept is only one possible response to the question of social order and that it contains several dimensions whose diversity and interactions have not been fully explored. The "dialectic of democracy" is the model used by the author to examine the concept of social cohesion."
