"The provinces reviewed in this note are Nova Scotia, Saskatchewan, British
Columbia, Ontario and Quebec. Cultural policy statements from other provinces/territories were not reviewed either because time did not permit a detailed examination of its cultural activities (Prince Edward Island and Manitoba, the latter based upon its 1990 Arts Policy Review Committee) or no information was available (in the case of New Brunswick’s recently established “cultural policy task force”)."
