The purpose of the process is to:

• Provide information and enhance mutual understanding of transmission planning and future system requirements.
• Create a dialogue that facilitates the exchange of ideas and information between BCTC, its stakeholders and First Nations.
• Understand First Nations and community issues around new transmission investment so that issues can be identified and addressed early in the process.
