Electoral District Profiles

The British Columbia Electoral Boundaries Commission is currently reviewing the area and boundaries of electoral districts to identify any boundaries needing adjustment due to population change. The Commission is required to table a preliminary report with the Legislature by August 15, 2007 and a final report by February 15, 2008.

Boundaries and overview maps for the electoral districts from the 1999 electoral district redistribution are currently in effect.
 

• Voting Area Maps - Provincial General Election 2005
The voting area boundaries depicted in these maps have undergone a redistribution in preparation for the 2005 General Election.

To support these new maps, please find for each electoral district:
     • A Street Index, listing address ranges and voting areas;
     • A Conversion Table, comparing 2001 General Election voting areas to 2005
       General Election voting areas;
     • Geographic Information System spatial data files, showing voting areas and
       point voting areas.

Detailed maps illustrating voting areas within each electoral district used for the 2001 General Election.

• Electoral Maps of Selected Urban Areas - Provincial General Election 2001, 2005
This double sheeted map was produced to accompany the publication:
Location Index: Redistribution 1999. It displays electoral boundaries through urban areas.

• Electoral District Maps – Redistribution 1989 - Provincial General Election 1991, 1996
 These electoral boundaries and maps have been replaced with new boundaries and maps from the 1999 Redistribution.
