On May 5, 2004, the Alberta government announced a new policy on the mandatory publication of international travel expenses for Ministers, MLAs and Ministers' office staff. The policy provides that for international travel that takes place after April 1, 2004, an expenditure report will be posted on the website of the relevant department within two months following the date of return to Alberta. The expenditure report will include expenses for travel, accommodation, meals, receptions and hosting, and incidental and miscellaneous expenses. These pages provide information on the international travel and general mission expenditures incurred within the Government of Alberta by Ministers, MLAs and Ministers' office staff. The information on this website will be updated within two months following the date of return to Alberta from international travel.International mission/travel:
