Nova Scotia Holiday Greetings

The Holiday Season means different things to different people.  For me, it is a perfect time to spend quality time with family and friends.  I'm very fortunate to have my family fairly close by.  But many of us aren't as fortunate.   Many Nova Scotians have moved away from home for various reasons.  These expatriates have been on my mind a lot lately, with the recent Nova Scotia Come to life ad campaign, aimed at expatriates living in Toronto and Calgary.  We called the campaign the "Road to Life".  We wanted to get expatriates to think about home and everything it has to offer: family, friends, the ocean and DONAIRS.  The donairs struck a cord with many of you.  One woman from Yellowknife read about the ads and penned a letter to the Chronicle Herald saying, "It is only too bad there are not more road signs across Canada leading everyone to the beautiful province of Nova Scotia, which is also home to the best donairs in Canada."

We hope the ads get you thinking about Nova Scotia and investigating the opportunities now available here.  A quick check of www.opportunitiesns.ca is proof.

Those opportunities are real and are combined with an incredible quality of life.  This morning, on my commute, I was in awe of the beauty Nova Scotia has to offer.  The trees were white capped with snow and the sun was just beginning to come up over the water.  It was stunning.  This is - life in Nova Scotia. It is filled with beauty.  For those Nova Scotians living away from home this holiday season, best wishes from all of us at Nova Scotia Come to life.  We hope that your New Year is filled with prosperity and a visit to the province you call home!

Happy Holidays Everyone,

Nova Scotia Come to life team
