Description
Québec pluriel was born of the observation that many groups of
Quebeckers from cultural communities or visible minorities post
higher dropout, academic underachievement and unemployment rates
than the Québec population as a whole.
Since 2004, more than 535 young people have participated in
Québec pluriel in Montréal and Québec City. As of this year, this
measure will also be offered on four new territories—Gatineau,
Laval, Longueuil and Sherbrooke through financial assistance from
the Secrétariat à la jeunesse.
