Education

Scholarships and Other Options

Over the years, various organizations, individuals and professional groups in Yukon have established scholarships to complement the Financial Assistance programs offered by the Government of Yukon. The information on this website provides an overview, but by no means a complete listing of scholarships available through the Yukon.

These scholarships are provided by private donors who may not have the ability to deal with applications in other languages. Applicants should consider this when submitting their application.

We would like you to pay particular attention to where your application should be sent and what documents are required to apply for these scholarships. If an application must be completed, it is indicated under the specific scholarship where the forms are available.

Some scholarships listed here require the applicant to provide information to the Department of Education. In those cases the information is collected under the authority of the Yukon Students Financial Assistance Act for the purpose of administering scholarships available to Yukon students, including determining eligibility, sharing information with other agencies including donors as required, and establishing related data bases.
