The following documents have been updated:
- Policy Bulletin #11 - Life Income Fund (LIF) – Updated references to 2008 calendar year. LIF withdrawal amounts have NOT changed.
- Policy Bulletin #12 – Locked-in Retirement Fund (LRIF) – Discontinued as LRIF products are no longer provided by the EPPA.
- Policy Bulletin #16 - Plans for Connected Individuals – Updated references to 2008 YMPE.
- Policy Bulletin #20 - Flexible Pension Plans – Changed CCRA reference to CRA.
- Policy Bulletin #24 - Maximum Commutable Amounts – Updated references to 2008 YMPE and corresponding impact on the small amounts limit.
- Policy Bulletin #30 - Defined Contribution Retirement Income Accounts (RIAs) – Updated references to 2008 calendar year. DC RIA withdrawal amounts have NOT changed.

EPPA Update 07-03 - 50% Unlocking Cheat Sheet and Accessing Pension Funds
EPPA Update 07-03 has been developed in light of a high volume of questions concerning the 50% Unlocking Option. Additionally, Accessing Pension Funds has also been updated to:
- clarify that if that the balance of a locked-in account is a “small amount” after the removal of 50% of the funds, that account can be completely unlocked, and
- reflect the 2008 YMPE changes. (Note: all relevant policy bulletins and other documents / tables which must be altered in light of the upcoming change in the calendar year will be amended by end of the month).
