Tax and Revenue Administration Client Self-Service (TRACS)

What is TRACS?

TRACS – Tax and Revenue Administration Client Self-Service - is designed for Alberta Tax and Revenue Administration’s (TRA) taxpayers, claimants and filers. It is a secure online system that provides an alternative for authorized individuals to conduct business with TRA.

Who can use TRACS?

TRACS is available to claimants and filers who have an account with TRA in the following programs:

  1. Prescribed Rebate Off-road Percentages (PROP)
  2. Tax Exempt Fuel Sales (TEFS)
  3. Tourism Levy

As this new online system develops, TRACS will be available in other programs.

TRACS enables businesses to self-manage access to their accounts. The business owner, or individual authorized by the business owner, may grant additional account access to tax-preparers and/or other employees, as required.
