Premium Whiskies Of The World Release And Tasting
Vancouver - BC Liquor Stores are releasing a special collection of premium whiskies in select government liquor stores on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007.
This year's premium whisky release brings together 30 exceptional and rare whiskies from countries around the world including Canada, Ireland, Japan, France, USA and Scotland. The release provides interest for the collector as well as the whisky novice and features aged malt whiskies, vintage releases, different finishes, unique and limited products, as well as silent distilleries and select cask offerings. BC Liquor Stores are hosting two exclusive premium whisky tasting events in recognition of the release on Thursday Nov. 15 and Friday Nov. 16 at 7 p.m. at the 39th & Cambie Signature BC Liquor Store. Special guest speaker Gerry Tosh, global brand ambassador for the esteemed Highland Park distillery will lead a tasting of 10 premium whiskies representing some of the best of the world. Tickets for the event are being sold for $50 and can be purchased at the 39th & Cambie store.
A selection of the premium whiskies will be available only in Signature BC Liquor Stores beginning Nov. 17, 2007. The broadest selection of this release will be featured at the flagship BC Liquor Store located at 39th Avenue & Cambie Street in Vancouver. Limited quantities per customer will apply on some products and some bottle quantity restrictions will apply. Buyers are advised to shop early to avoid disappointment.
