Clientele Served
- adults, youth and families who want to live free from the harmful effects of alcohol, other drugs and gambling
- anyone wanting information or treatment for addiction-related concerns
Program/Service Description
- provides a 36-bed residence for adults who are recovering from addictions (27 short-term beds, six long-term beds, three pre/post beds)
- offers short-term (four to six weeks) and long-term (three months) residential treatment programs with an emphasis on Aboriginal culture
- offers Aboriginal-based outpatient and drop-in treatment programs that include crisis intervention, assessment, counselling, information and referrals
- offers evening programs to address family violence issues
- provides education and prevention programs to community groups and organizations
Referral Information
- Clients can apply for admission themselves; other agencies can arrange referrals by phone or in person.
- Clients must have at least three days abstinence from alcohol and other drugs before starting the residential program.
