Alberta Games

The Alberta Summer and Winter Games are the province's premier multi-sport events that profile "developing" athletes between the ages of 12 to 17 years.

Alberta Seniors Games

The Alberta Seniors Games provide an opportunity for Albertans 55 years of age and over to participate in a multi-sport festival.

 

Interprovincial Games

The ASRPWF supports provincial sport associations in the development of provincial teams for the Canada Winter Games, Canada Summer Games, Arctic Winter Games and Western Canada Summer Games.

National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP)

NCCP provides the opportunity for Alberta-based coaches at all levels to receive the training and education needed for National and International certification.

Provincial Sport and Recreation Association Development

The ASRPWF provides annual support to provincial recreation and sport associations.

Alberta's Future Leaders Program

The Alberta's Future Leaders Program
is a community-based participation and leadership program that provides opportunities for indigenous youth in selected Alberta communities.

International Sport Exchange

The International Sport Exchange
fosters sport development, friendship and potential economic development between Alberta and her sister provinces of Hokkaido, Japan and Gangwon, Korea.

Percy Page Centre

The Percy Page Centre currently houses 65 provincial associations that are recognized by the ASRPWF.

Active Living

Active Living  promotes physical activity and encourages active living partnerships with the private and public sectors.

Park and Wildlife Ventures

Park and Wildlife Ventures provides assistance and advice regarding the donation of goods and land (including ecologically sensitive land) for natural habitats.

Municipal Recreation and Tourism Areas (MR/TA)

The ASRPWF provides operating grants to MR/TA.

Development Initiatives Program

The Development Initiatives Program is a grant program available to Albertans in the areas of sport, recreation, parks and wildlife.

Hosting Program

Financial support through the Hosting Program may be available to communities and associations hosting national or international sport, recreation, parks and wildlife events.

Sport Participation Initiatives Program

The Sport Participation Initiative provides support to Provincial Sport Associations for the development and operation of programs designed to enhance participation in under-represented groups.

Coaching Development Initiatives

The Coaching Development Initiatives provide opportunities to further coaching development in Alberta.
