GOVERNMENT FULFILS 90-DAY AGENDA

VICTORIA — The government has completed its 90-day agenda of 22 changes it promised to initiate by Sept. 3 and will continue to work aggressively to fulfil its other New Era commitments, Premier Gordon Campbell announced today.

VICTORIA — The government has introduced legislation to establish fixed provincial election dates, a key component of its New Era agenda to make public institutions more open and accountable, Premier Gordon Campbell and Attorney General Geoff Plant announced today.

PREMIER CAMPBELL REPRESENTS BRITISH COLUMBIA AT WESTERN GOVERNORS ASSOCIATION
Premier Campbell represents British Columbia at the annual meeting of the Western Governors Association, held in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. On behalf of Western premiers, Premier Campbell discussed Canada's very strong concerns over unilateral U.S. trade actions against softwood lumber imports. The Premier also co-chaired a session on transportation corridors with Arizona Governor Jane Dee Hull.
